In or on media and merchandise depictions this logo is often produced from a file with blue lettering in a transparent background field on yellow media or merchandise. This is the positive version of our logo. Alternative presentations of our logo inlcude yellow lettering on a blue background, which we regard as the reverse logo because the color positions are reversed. The positive version of this logo uses yellow lettering in a transparent background field. Both of these logos have negative alternatives in which the lettering is transparent inside a colored background. So our logo can usually be described with negative and positive adjectival descriptors and sometimes with a reverse descriptor. In some cases, often including our letterhead, blue lettering is presented in a yellow background and none of these descriptors applies. In many cases, our logo is described without the positive descriptor as the logo rather than the positive logo. For special occaissions substitute colors may replace our official colors.
