Alternative presentations of our logo include yellow lettering on a blue background, which we regard as the reverse (or alternate) logo because the color positions are reversed. The positive version of this logo uses yellow lettering in a transparent background field. Both of these logos have negative alternatives in which the lettering is transparent inside a colored background. So our logo can usually be described with negative and positive adjectival descriptors and sometimes with a reverse descriptor. In some cases, often including our letterhead, blue lettering is presented in a yellow background and none of these descriptors applies. In many cases, our logo is described without the positive descriptor as the logo rather than the positive logo. For special occasions, substitute colors may replace our official colors.
